ABOUT NAAU
NAAU is a contemporary art space. Designed with diverse audiences in mind, the gallery offers an uncompromising, fresh dialogue in new media and fine art through its dual dedication to object based representation and non-commercial work. Established in 2004 by Ruth Ann Brown, the NAAU's most recent acclaimed interdisciplinary programming is a project based series of installation exhibits known as Couture (2008-10).
It is conveniently located in the heart of the emerging Central Eastside Arts District, just off East Burnside, behind the Jupiter Hotel and Doug Fir Lounge. The neighborhood is also host to the Imago Theater, KBOO radio and several other boutique galleries.
